This week at Pages in Time Sept 12

As always here's a lot going on around Pages in Time.

First we have this week's question of the week.

How did you get into scrap booking?

I would love to hear your how you got started here.

This week we have two layouts of the week to grace our screens as layout of the week.

Also we have a wonderful sketch for you to play with in the sketches forum. And check out Karen's blog Thursday for our newest sketch.

If you need ideas on how to create something, you can always check out our muse of the month Gabriella P. Her blog is showered with stunning pages and awesome tutorials so check her out. I hope to soon add her to the scraplift the muse challenge, but in the mean time you can still have time to enter in last month's muse (Gabriella P) of the month scraplift details are here
scrap lift the muse challenge.

There are plenty of other groups to spark and engage your interest like:
all about cards
mini album makers
portraits from the past
and the ever popular altered and mix art artisans

And for more fun and motivation come play in the available challenges this month like: going in circles, paint challenge, Darnest things kids say, and purple & gold.

A little standing ovation to August's challenge winners:
Kelly - distress challenge

April - stamp challenge

Levesque- ribbon challenge

And be sure to keep your calendar clear the first week in October for
Croptober Fest
an on-line crop hosted by your Pages in Time design team.

Now I'd like to spot light a few of my favorite pages added to the Pages in Time gallery.

This shabby shadowbox card was a contribution by, one of the amazing design team members at pages in time, Annar posted here. I just compled my fist shadow box layout and it was super fun just as i imagine this cad was to make.

"A day We Never Forget"By Solveig Martenssonaka "mammasol" posted here. Her layering and masking is amazing but what she did with that vase of flowers is unreal.

"Happy Minutes" is an awesome contribution by Yulia Kayer posed here. I love the background paper she used on the layout. She showed amazing skill at creating a page with multiple photos.

Everyone knows I love trying new things so here's an awesome tutorial I'd like to share.

Andrea's country time flowers.

  1. Your roundup posts are always such a delight, Stacey! Even though I've usually seen everything you highlight over at PIT, it's joy to see - and hear about - the creations you highlight again.

Wishing you a beautiful Sunday, sweet gal!
