May Counterfeit Kit Revealed

I just love the 5th of the month because that is the day the Masters of Forgery at Counterfeit Kit reveal what kit we will steal for the month. This means I get to go shopping for scrap supplies to match a kit this challenge has designated as kit of the month. Here's the thing, I had to shop from my own stash, so it cost me NOTHING!!! I suggest you play along to, so check out the Counterfeit Kit Challenge.

This month the Counterfeit team of masters of forgery selected Work in Progress as the kit to lift. This month WIP Kits launched a very girly main kit! Perfect because my girlfriend will be having a baby shower for her expected princess. The alphabet paper with its squares reminded me of the princess paper I picked up a long time ago. This paper is especially perfect because my girlfriend made that "I'm a Princess" theme popular. Are you ready for my BIG secret. The paper is actually gift wrap and I bought it knowing I could make amazing scrap pages for my nieces. When I bought the paper, I bought three rolls of plain blue, pink, and green that coordinated perfectly. I'm also excited because I bought a pock-a-dot stamp and I plan to jazz up the plain papers with that.

I tried not to get carried away like I usually do with embellishments because I tend to make all my embellishments as I go. I noticed that the last few months I spend the first weeks making embellishments and I don't get as much scrapped. So I said I wouldn't get carried away YET--- this is what I gathered:

I included my Paper Doll cartridge with the Cricut because it reminded me of some of the embellishments in the original kit. I have transparencies, stickers (especially my Disney princess ones), chipboard flowers and crowns, journaling spots, and bling. I didn't have the energy to get lost in my ribbon, trim, and lace collection. I also have a bundle of cheap jewelry I bought this last weekend. I thought they would be perfect for beads and charms.
