Schwiet Garden ~~~ Passion Daisy

Every odd day of the month I will present a new gardening tip. The best news is you don't have to be a green thumb to have success with these tips because they are suggested tutorials for flowers to be included in your crafts.

Talk about another must have in your paper craft gardens.... Passion daisies. The super creative artist Lisa shows you how easy and pretty these little darlings are to make. The passion is another go- to flower I resort to making quite often.

Please come join me at Funtoolas July Sparkle and Bling challenge for a opportunity to show off  any type of handmade flower on your craft project. One lucky random winner will receive a RAK.

More Wedding Mini Album ~~Funtoolas

More goodies from the amazing Funtoolas kit from.

I love the deck binding system developed by Laura from Following the Paper Trail. It has so many pockets to stash stuff. By having these tags I was able to use their embellishments as embellishments on the main page too.

These tags were designed based on the ScrapThat! July sketch by the ever amazing scrapper and sketch artist Amarilys

Schwiet Garden ~~~ Banner flower

Every odd day of the month I will present a new gardening tip. The best news is you don't have to be a green thumb to have success with these tips because they are suggested tutorials for flowers to be included in your crafts.

I must admit the latest banner/pennant craze has bit me and bit me hard, so imagine my excitement when I found this tutorial on making your banners into flowers. It will take a lot of punched out pennants to make these flowers, but based on how they look on the layout shown you have to admit they look great. So check out the banner/pennant flower tutorial.

Schwiet Garden ~~~ Sunflower

Every odd day of the month I will present a new gardening tip. The best news is you don't have to be a green thumb to have success with these tips because they are suggested tutorials for flowers to be included in your crafts.
Literally nothing stands out more in one's garden then a sunflower, so for today's tutorial I'd like to encourage you to try this sunflower tutorial. Some of the things I like the most about Michele's tutorial is her fearless build of layers and the awesome way she made the seed-like sunflower center.

Schwiet Garden ~~~ Sweetheart Vine

Every odd day of the month I will present a new gardening tip. The best news is you don't have to be a green thumb to have success with these tips because they are suggested tutorials for flowers to be included in your crafts.
So I love playing with wires and making my own embellishments with the wire designs. One simple wire embellishment is vines and here's a very detailed yet simple tutorial on making a Sweetheart Vine.

I used the blue flowers provided in the kit to make a modified Sweetheart Vine.

"Love" Album cover~~~ Funtoolas "Vintage Treasures"

Once again I wanted to show off this amazing kit from Funtoolas. I wanted to show off (with better pics) the first page and follow up with the second page.

This album is using the very cool stack the deck binding system developed by Laura from Following the Paper Trail. The cover opens to reveal a picture on the flap and two tags in a pocket.

The flap actually pulls out and there is more space for more pictures.

Schwiet Garden ~~~ Plastic Daisy

Every odd day of the month I will present a new gardening tip. The best news is you don't have to be a green thumb to have success with these tips because they are suggested tutorials for flowers to be included in your crafts.
As if gardening was a green enough activity, here's a great idea for a flower that involves up-cycling and showing your green side for the environment. Try making a plastic daisy. I've even seen plastic butterflies.
